So this meeting started very strangely indeed. I get an email as normal for a wedding photographer, I go through the motions as normal. This includes me suggesting meeting up to grab a drink, I also add that I will be down Colchester soon so I don’t mind travelling. Well, it turns out that these two lovely peeps are currently living in Australia! So as it happens, I did mind travelling that far for a coffee. Skype calls are the best though! They save a flight too. How exciting that I work in such an amazing industry. One that allows me to meet such great people. Shout out to Sam and Louise for the shout out to these two! Big Love!
Andrew and Stacey had to come to England to arrange their wedding in native Essex, so I headed down to meet them, grab lunch then shoot a portrait sesh. I hadn’t been to Colchester before but I was happy to arrive to find a gorgeous town, rich in history with a gorgeous castle, a huge water tower and a superb pub, The Three Wise Monkeys, where we ate. After some awesome food and a good chat, we had a stroll around the town and ended up in Castle Park. A beauty of a park with plenty to do and a great big Castle in it too. Now, I should have been all over that castle but something far more exciting had caught my eye! As a Trex fan, I spotted the boating lake and wanted nothing more than to ‘Ride a White Swan’. A+S were keen and the rest is history. Great shoot with great peeps!!
